Music has a lengthy path behind it, that is often an intricate one to follow. Both the music of Europe which developed a mechanism of camouflaging emotions, and departed toward abstraction, as well as music that originates outside of Europe, share a common core from which they evolved. The search for this core – its essence, and what is beneath it – became both the starting point for the primitivo concept, as well as an attempt to answer questions as to where music begins, and the nature of its primordial elements.
